Welp, today, i'm gonna do some random backstories for the bosses in Cuphead
And by backstories, i mean, why are they part of the debt? Let'sa find out!
Inkwell isle One[]
The Root Pack[]
They used to be some ordinary vegetables you always see in every farms, but the reason why their farmer didn't appear is because his is part of the debt.
However, the farmer failed to pay the debt from the devil, and he disappeared without a trace, so that their debt doesn't go to waste, the devil decided to make the root pack come to life. Then give them personalities and powers. Because, well, thats what every vegetables want. But they didn't pay their debt too. Instead of making them have the same fate like the farmer, the devil would wait for someone to deal with them.
Cagney Carnation[]
Cagney Carnation, they used to be a large flower that is different from all flowers, their farmer is the same to the Root pack, but the farmer is more worked on to The Root pack since food and fruits are becoming uncommon in Inkwell Isle One. Anyways, Cagney grow very fast, that's why they are bigger than any other flowers in the background. After their farmer disappeared, the devil make Cagney come to life, and yada yada, you know the drill. But the problem is... They didn't pay their debt.
Goopy le Grande[]
Goopy used to be seperate people, aka the blue things you see in Forest follies. The "little goopies" in Forest follies are his remaining parts before they combine. After beating Forest follies level, they combine.
Wanting to be bigger, they signed the devil's contract for their souls, they got pills to get bigger. But it lasts for 5 minutes. But the problem is... They didn't pay their debt.
Hilda Berg[]
Hilda Berg used to be a scientist who always study about the skies, the planets, and more. Being very interested on those topics, they want to be with one of the skies, they tried to fly, making jet packs, spinning their arms, and more things. But it doesn't work, and here comes the Devil himself.
Without hesitance, Hilda signed the contract, and now they turned into a zeppelin, which means they can be one with the skies. But, the problem is... They didn't pay their debt.
