Spread is a weapon obtained from Porkrind's Emporium.
Strategy[]
It is a high damage spread gun that works best if you can get close to your target. Shots disappear after a short distance. It has a red color and looks like some small pyramids. Best used to deal high burst damage when the opportunity presents itself, especially when that boss is stationary.
EX: Eight Way - Fires 8 large spikes that deal high damage, but move very slowly. It is best when using against background bosses like Chauncey Chantenay, Goopy's Tombstone, Beppi's Balloons and Carousel and The Devil.
Trivia[]
- It is the only weapon whose EX damage is a decimal. The rest of the EX attacks' damage is a whole number.
- However, if you consider damage per hit instead of max, then Peashooter is another example as its EX damage per hit is 25/3. Peashooter is also the only weapon whose damage per hit is a non-terminating decimal (8.3333333...)
