Mountain Goats are one of the enemies found in the Run 'N Gun level Rugged Ridge in Inkwell Isle Three.
Appearance[]
Mountain Goats are brown, humanoid goats with pale blue overalls and a green miner hat. They look like stereotypical southern hillbillies and are armed with pickaxes. They also have a constant mad expression on their faces.
Characteristics[]
Found only in the first section of Rugged Ridge, Mountain Goats throw pickaxes at the player like a boomerang, akin to the Roundabout. As such, avoiding their pickaxes can be tricky, especially in combination with orbiting Pyro Heads and Mountain Lions.
Although they may take a few shots to be defeated and it is tempting to deal with them first, they unfortunately respawn. After a Mountain Goat is killed, another one will descend from a rope after a few seconds. It is far better to push through the level than to deal with them.
