Ludwig is a grumpy looking phonograph that has a slight rivalry about their music tastes with another instrument, named Wolfgang. Talking with them will unlock the piano themes for the overworld. He can be found on Inkwell Isle Three standing outside the entrance to Rugged Ridge.
Appearance[]
Ludwig is a simple-looking phonograph with a yellow tube and yellow turning handle that is constantly spinning. He wears what appears to be a blue jacket/sweater and a white shirt. He also wears white gloves and brown shoes.
Personality[]
Ludwig has simple, classical tastes and a grumpy personality.[1] Ludwig is very appreciative of his own style of music and doesn't like it if someone doesn't appreciate his style of music. He has a rivalry with Wolfgang as he doesn't appreciate his music and disagrees with his said moto "Less is more". He is quite a minimalist with his style of music, which is his main trait.

- His name is a reference to Ludwig van Beethoven, who was also considered very grumpy.
