Inkwell Isle Times of Yesteryear is the reboot of the now-defunct Inkwell Isle Extra, although many old concepts from the latter are reused here. All 18 bosses are (mostly) historically-accurate, even if there are quite a few of them that are from time periods that gradually take place closer and closer to the present day that we're in right now, rather than stopping at the era the game is set (as a meta reference to how Cuphead was released in 2017, despite being entirely based on the 1930s).

Suggestions for boss level names for all characters listed (excluding Wesley Coyote [who is fought in "Archeological Assault"] and Artemis [who is fought in "Fight-nor-Flight"]) can be written in the comments section, as I don't have much ideas for them myself.

Without further ado, here's every timeline boss and some basic information about them:

1. Tyrantosaur - A fearsome T-Rex with an appetite for destruction... and maybe the player. (he is from the jurassic period in the past 65 million years)

2. Zoran - A Neanderthalic skier who is confidently cold-hearted. (he is from the last ice age in the past 40,000 years)

3. Taregan Tribalman - The leader of a primitive tribe whose only hope is that the last remnants of prehistory are kept secretive. (he is from an uncertain prehistoric time period that takes place sometime before the Qin dynasty that was later seen in 247 BC)

4. Marr'rinuh - A sea monster who is the mythical master of an underwater city. (she is from 430 BC)

5. Roman Ceasar - The enraged and infuriated god who was designed to fend off those who cause a disturbance to the colosseum. (he is from 753 BC)

6. Lady Khepri - A genderbent counterpart of the Egyptian god Khepri, whose nobility and monarchy makes her haughtiness even more apparent. (she is from 2500 BC)

7. Everard Jaresiah - A deceitful peasant and master thief from the Dark Ages, who fakes his death and later gains knighthood to escape from the mob that is after him. (he is from 948 AD)

8. Renata and Ricardo - Renaissance artists who are a married couple, and will work together to make use of their famous paintings and even the flying machine to help them out in battle. (they are from the 1400s)

9. Zhang Xiu - The no-nonsense kongfu fighter who is the hero of her time. (she is from 1673)

10. Percy Bloodworth - The ruthless young descendant of Captain Brineybeard, who will spitefully attack the player, until they walk the plank or he yars his last har. (he is from 1679)

11. Bandito Torpedo - One of the lone bandits in the Wild West's ghost town. (he is from 1850)

12. Wesley Coyote - An archeologist and relic hunter who will stop at nothing to get the mysterious artifact that he needs. (he is from the early-1900s)

13. Sunny Rays - The cool local surfer girl who knows how to wipe out. (she is from the 1960s)

14. Axl Anarchy - The radical resident who can play it loud just like a rockstar, as he has the time of his life on the concert stage. (he is from the 1980s)

15. The Workplace Gang - Office workers who can never get their jobs done, even if the fight against them irritates them further. (they are from the 1990s)

16. Damien Dexter - An unfazed everyman who's doing nothing but the best for the people in his neighborhood. (he is from 2009)

17. Artemis - The fierce bird of prey who leads the airforce within the sky during a postmodern war. (he is from 2138)

18. Xantara the Cybersystem - In the Far Future, she is fully aware that nothing will save you from... the terror from tomorrow. (she is from 2323)
